Day 120: Palm Trees

It was HOT today!!! I think 102... who knows. Anyhoo, I was sad today... I was hoping to go on a Zero G flight and experience 0 gravity... Didnt happen. I love space and nasa... i can stay up hours watching shows on space and the universe. I hope I get another chance to do this... or something similar.... I wont say to much. Glah!

Day 118: Reflections

My heart has been emo lately... no worries I punch and kicked it a few times... I should be good to go plus I have also been listening to Muse's Reflections - Tiesto Mix. Its been going not stop for those of you who dont have me on chat. I only listen to trance when Im in a certain mood and Ive been in it lately. Anyhoo So this is Kirsten Dunst. Remember her? I love this photo of her cause shes hot and she looks so fragile... you just want to hold her and take care of her haha. Anyhoo shes not my recent celebrity crush... actually I dont really know who it is right now. In other news... my desk is starting to get messy according to this photo.

Day 117: Vipers Basketball

I love the sport of basketball... I think Ive said this several times before. I was off so I went to go watch the game... yea.. i was put to work for the fourth quarter... It was fun though. I think you can imagine what happened by the this photo haha.

Day 116: Seashell

So I went to the beach today! it was AWESOME!!! Im thinking of staying there a few days next time i am off. Get some sun and forget about the real world... Although I was doing a lot of thinking of the past, which sucked but whatever. Life goes on.

Day 114: Alhambra

My new hangout place thanks to friend! This place feels just right cause its away from the downtown clutterness. They have hookahs too so thats different haha. I really like this place and the hostess is awesome hahah

Day 112: Shots

I need a break from the Valley and work! Im getting pretty burned out lately. Anyone wants to adopted me? haha Im a great guy to hangout with haha... cruises, bar hop, chill, talk... blah blah blah haha

Day 111: Clutch

So this is Clutch! Hes with the Houston Rockets, but the Viper are there affiliate team so he comes every once and a while. I love watching Basketball... Im not a huge fan of teams but I do support Duke Blue Devils, Georgetown, Indiana Pacers and the Boston Celtics! Anyhoo I love the sport and tonights game was AWESOME! I hope I get to travel with them to Tulsa and cover them. Will see. Everyone has to watch Clutch some point of their time so do it.

Day 110: Heart

Its a FREAKING cactus shaped as a heart... how crazy is that. I was getting a tour from the McAllen Nature Center, because they are planning to get rid of it and make tennis courts... fucked up right? They mayor started this year saying "GO GREEN" and now he wants to bulldoze this nature trail to make tennis courts... Are you serious??? Anyhoo I was walking around and I saw this cactus a mile away. Is this a sign??? hahaha In other news, I found a girl I met at a photo workshop in Kentucky exactly five years ago o on facebook. How crazy is that... I have to pull out my photos and send them to her haha. She is a cutie! Glad to see shes still taking photos.

Day 109: Back Cam View

This is a view from my camera I placed during the Austin vs RGV Vipers game today! I did it all by myself! I usually have someone watching me, but this time I had no one. I had a hard time trying to figure out how to do it haha The photo is on my other blog, so go check it out. It was the only photo that came out. I was happy haha and the best part was that it made front page at out paper. Now I have to pray that I get to go on the road to cover the Vipers is they win tomorrow. I could use a trip to Tulsa or Iowa. Will see.

Day 108: Gloves

So I woke at 4am today... I dont know why haha. I had to shoot wild art today so I went cover UTPA play UND. Not that many people go to the games so it was a little hard to cover it, but it was a GREAT day for baseball. Its been raining the last couple of days so a sunny day is always great... plus I get a nice tan out of it haha.

Day 107: Breathe

After looking over this photo I shot today at the track and field meet... I feel just like this girl... Things have been building up in my head lately and its not cool. I dont like it at all. Anyhoo, I enjoy watching women sports especially track and field because after running they seem to throw themselves to the floor or anything they can find. I think the worst ones are at a cross country meet. They are all in the floor and getting dragged around by teammates just so they can breath. They do make great photos. The meet was later postponed due to rain and lighting.

Day 106: Bottles

So I had a rough afternoon today... Four kids were arrested right in front of the office so I go shoot it. As soon as I get there all the kids start to cry that they are minors and blah blah blah... then some guy comes up to me and tell me thats not cool and I shouldnt be taking photos of them... THEN a lady pulls up and tells me I shouldnt be doing that too. I told her sorry, but its my job plus im in public grounds and I know my rights and I have a degree to show it... then she took off. I told the man that he could go talk to my editor.. gave him the name, where his office is at and where to ask for him. He told me it wasnt cool... I just ignored him... as for the kids they all wanted to kick my ass... if they were smart they should have just kept their head down... I think they ended up having drugs with them. Of course we wouldnt run something like this cause this usually happens... I should have told them that so they could have left me alone. Anyhoo... we have art of kids getting arrested for a future story haha.

Day 105: Pole Vault

What a day!!! I spent four hours covering track and field today. It was fun, but took a LONG time. I have a nice farmers tan now haha. I also covered a wreck earlier today that rolled over four times... I told my photo chief that I was in a roll over my freshmen year, rolling about seven times. I still remember a doctor that was driving next to us telling me "SHIT HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?" as I walked out of the truck... I just smiled and said "I dont know, but I think my back is bleeding!" Anyhoo... I went to the golf range after work... I sucked today. Wasnt hitting the ball right and at all haha... I think the track and field really tired me out. Next time!

Day 104: Rose

THis is a BEAUTIFUL rose... Ive never seen one like this. I LOVE roses. Its my favorite flower haha and this was my one of my friends birthday present. I found out today that I have to recharge battery since I am running out of battery haha. Umm finally caught up with my photo project today so I hope you are enjoying this photo project cause its be a pain sometimes haha. If anyone knows of other blogs like this one, then let me know.

Day 103: Out the Window

Day 102: Rain

Another day off so I pretty much stayed in and clean my place... it rained and it was peaceful haha.

Day 101: Around the Block

So I went jogging around my block today and it felt good. I figured out that if I jog around several times it adds up to a few miles... duh right? haha Will see how long I can keep this up... Ive been having a lot of things going on in my head so I might actually take up the jogging more often.

Day 100: Downtown

Went to downtown... I almost forgot how it looked since I gave up alcohol for lent... It was a good night.

Day 99: Cars

I saw these toy cars with the design of all the police cars the valley has. I wanted to take them with me... I love cars!!! Im still looking for a 1936 Chevrolet. Send it to me if you see it.

Day 98: Arraignment

Here is a photo for you... I was covering an Arraignment today for a man who beat someone with a hammer. The other guys were arrested for DUI, possession of drugs and other stuff. I wish I could show you how tight our area was.. We had 7 cameras along with reporters and other photogs... I was literally shooting on my side.

Day 97: Golf

I had my first golf lessons today with my photo chief... he knows his stuff and the best part is that I will be kicking some butt soon. This sport doesnt seem to hard. Just have to be calm, patient and hit the ball. Will see how things go.

Day 96: Colors

Today I had a shoot at a shoe repair shop... The cool part about my job/life is that I learn how things are done... In this example I learned how certain shoes are repaired. I need to find an assignment were I can learn how to scuba dive haha

Day 95: Double

DUKE WINS!!!! WOOOO!!! This has been an amazing tournament. So many surprises and upsets. I will miss the season, but its only a few month before tip off so I cant wait. I love the sport of basketball so much!!! I wouldnt mind seen Butler win, just because this was their first time in the championship and its a small school. Major props to Butler for putting up a great game and good fight with Duke. GO DUKE!!!

Day 94: Happy Sunday

Its Easter and Im at work burning dvds, emailing photos and listening to the scanner. Its been a quiet day. Not much going on. I dont have family to hangout like everyone in the Valley is, but whatever haha. Im used to it. This is my desk... A little messy... what else can you spot? Oh look I have a phone message... I wonder how long thats been there haha.

Day 93: Beer Me Please

Lent is OVER!!! The waitress was awesome... and cute. She had my beer ready at midnight. It tasted the same haha but Im sure I wont be drinking like I used too... Im not promising anything though haha... One thing that might change is the way I eat. I have been craving food, but I would rather just eat at home. Thats good news right? Will see how that goes.

Day 92: Remote Camera

Today I drove to Corpus to cover soccer finals. This was the first time I tried doing a remote camera around the goal and I actually got something. It was a defensive play not a goal, but whatever. I need to try more remote cameras... My assistant photo editor reminds me to set up cameras, but sometimes I freak out because I dont see or hear the shutter going off. I have to trust the force haha.

Day 91: Players

You guys need to listen to players talk in their dugout... Hilarious!!! Sometimes they start talking to me.. ask me stuff.. ask me to take a photo of them... the usual haha.
