Day 273: Friday Night Lights

Day 272: Illegal's

Had a 10 hour shift today with the Sheriff's Tactical Patrol team. After an hour of driving around and looking for narcotics we got a call about a truck with illegal immigrants. Here they are... at first I saw only four people, but I turned around for a second and seven more little heads popped out from the back. I was amazed at how stealth they behind the pick up. Three more were inside and two fled the scene. I enjoy shadowing these guys. Its a fun yet dangerous job. Props to these guys working hard and staying safe.

Day 271: BANANA'S

Went grocery shopping tonight. These bananas will go down in history... or in my stomach, but after getting these banana's I started dancing with a pretty girl at the produce section haha. I think we ran into each other several times. I went down an isle and she ran into me again so I try to look healthy by grabbing a medium can of oatmeal... GROSS!!! Then I let her pass by me again, this time without a dance haha. I hope she remembers the guy wearing the NMSU shirt who she danced with at HEB!

Day 270: MNF

I really like this photo... so much going on. I think! Spent the night watching football... I dont really like football, but put a drink in my hand and I guess its ok hah

Day 269: Bike

Finished fixing my bike today. Hopefully I can find some biking buddies to cruise the mean streets of McAllen or whatever small town is around.

Day 268: Top Plays

I had a great night with fellow staff members. They are hilarious and Im sad to see one go, but he deserves it. Best of luck to him. One thing missing this night was getting a girls number... Pretty, tall, nice girl... I dont see many like those down here. At least we had fun dancing!

Day 267: Dessert

Sometimes I have these hard assignments were I have to wait for people to eat before I can shoot anything... and sometimes I get to eat too!

Day 266: Locked Up

Today I feel like my life is behind a fence... Grrr

Day 265: Gun Lock

"If for some reason someone starts shooting at us and you need a gun, then hit the gun lock button and the shot gun on top of you will release" "If I go down go ahead and take my rifle and start shooting at them" Those were the first words out of the guy I was shadowing today hah Spent a few hours with the Tactical Patrol team. I tell you my job is awesome!

Day 264: Staying Dry

Headed out to the UNiversity to try and get some rain art... I had a good day... maybe because I wasnt in the office all day. I know tomorrow I wont be either. WOOO!!!

Day 263: Rain

Ok so I see an eye... I dont know... Maybe im off today, but I actually like this photo. Like someone is actually watching us from afar.

Day 262: Tee Time

Spent pretty much all day covering golf. I actually enjoy covering golf. I drive around in a cart, get out every few times and shoot. Then do it all over again in the next hole. The weather was nice today too... so that helped.

Slow but busy day today... I saw this at one of my co workers desk and thought it was cool.

Day 260: Friday Night Lights

I enjoy shots like this one. I start to think about space... Yea Im a space freak! I love it!

Day 258: Flashing Lights

Im home now. Found some amazing post it notes all over my apartment. It was kind of cool. I actually enjoyed looking at all of them. Im finding them everywhere though. I think I found a "Pillow" post it inside my bed... Hmm I wonder! hah anyhoo I went to State Farm Arena to cover Martina McBride. I enjoyed this light show a little to much hah.

Day 257: Volcano

On my way back to the Valley! I saw this and the first thing that came into my head was VOLCANO! I like the moon on the top too. I really love this photo. There are SO many things people dont see until they are in a plane.

Day 256: Chicos

Plain and simple... ITS AN EL PASO THING!!! Everyone needs to try this... plus they helped me a lot while I was in college. I worked four years during the summers.

Day 255: Ink

Got some new ink on me... I really like them. I have plenty of things I want to get. I have four now and I think the next one I will get might be a bigger one.

We had a bbq for my pops today... I was actually getting burned when I was shooting this...

I shot this cause my mom said I wouldnt be able to get this photo... I think she forgot I was a photographer.

Day 250: Paloma

This is my buddy. Her name is Paloma. Shes so cute and keeping me company while I chill at home. We pretty much did this all day today. Finally catching up on my sleep.

Day 249: Top Secret

This is my secret garden. I love this place and I hope one day to own a cabin here so I can runaway from the world. I wont say where it is, but just trust me when I say I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Day 248: Nuns

I headed out to the Saint Anthony's bazzar today... Didnt really like it much. All they had was food food and more food. I miss the days when there were games too.

Day 247: Fortune

Had a glah day today... I usually eat chinese food when I have days like today. I did meet up with some photo buddies today and had a good time just talking about whatever.

Day 246: Chile

Visited Las Cruces today. I lived here for five years while I attended school. I had a good time and walking around campus brought back good memories.

Day 245: Benjamin's

So Ive been going to casinos during my vacation... and thats cause my parents go all the time. First thing you see when walking in is the "No Video/Photos Allowed" OH SNAP!!! You cant really see much so Im not worried. Anyhoo as a photographer you are trained to shoot before getting kicked out. This reminds me of the time when I was at Dunkin Donuts in Chicago and the manager didnt let me take photos of the donuts... so I asked him to get me a donut and when he turned around I snapped my photo. Thanks BYE!!!

Day 244: Cemetery

Soooo you see that empty spot... Thats where Im supposed to be buried with my family. Thats if I dont get married or end up living somewhere else other than El Paso. My aunts, grandma and cousin are near by. You know This is the first time Ive actually gone to their graves. Lots of my family members have past away in the past five years. CRAZY!!! Its a nice looking place so I guess its ok.
